Eagles Mayor Bartolome Hernandez, accompanied by other authorities, last night attended the inauguration of the Solidarity Association Rake Pegaso, where he was received by its president, Beatriz Garcia.
This market is located in a shop, located at 8 Iberia Street, next to the restaurant The Shark, and it can be found more than five hundred different items: books, furniture, clothes, accessories, etc..
Since its founding, the Pegaso Association has been dedicated to helping drug addicts, but now have decided to extend its scope, to assist needy families, directing their work to solve specific social problems that may have some citizens few economic resources.
During the ceremony, Beatriz García expressed his gratitude to all who have contributed to this Solidario Rake can open its doors, named for the same occasion as godmother Celia Lloret, as a always willing to help other people.
He also recalled that remain installed during the coming months, with hours from Monday to Saturday, 10 to 14 and from 17 to 21 hours.
Finally, Bartolome Hernandez wanted to congratulate the members of this group, to undertake this initiative which will certainly have the support of many aquiline, since Eagle has always shown signs of being a united people, the mayor said.
