Eagles reminds Paco Rabal in the thirteenth Anniversary of his death (11/08/2014)

Last weekend, about five hundred people attended the Fourth Evening ballads and Cante Flamenco "Homage to Paco Rabal," an event organized by the Department of Culture and Heritage of the City of Eagle, in partnership with the Brotherhood of Friends Traditions and columbines crews "Marina de Cope" and "Cuesta de Gos".

As usual, the event was under the moonlight of the aquiline hamlet of "La Cuesta de Gos", birthplace of the famous actor.

The event was attended by numerous members of the municipal corporation and the CEO of Scientific and Technical Research, María Pilar Villegas, along with other officials and guests.

The gala was attended by the troubadours: Marinas Salvador, Pedro Cardoso (father and son), Francisco "El Floristero" Antonio "El Andaluz" and "Uncle John Rita," with guitars and Micol Antonio Tomás García .

He also performed the flamenco singer Manuela Laino, accompanied by guitarist Antonio Fernández "El Torero".

The August 29 will mark thirteen years of the death of Francisco Rabal, who died of respiratory failure while returning to Spain by plane from Montreal.

Despite the years, the City of Eagle and aquiline in general continue to show their affection for the figure of Rabal, a person who always took the flag to the land of his birth.
