The departments of Women and Sports aquiline Consistory have organized a series of activities, free of charge, to encourage the practice of rowing among the citizens of Eagle.
The woman mayor, Maria Patrocinio Martinez, explained that "this is a linked to the municipality for more than 140 years sport in which physical effort, coordination and teamwork combines'.
The first event will take place this Friday, November 7, at 19:30 am at the Garden of Don Jorge, consisting of a talk which will involve people connected to the sport, who made an historical approach the world of rowing.
Also, thanks to the collaboration of President Rowing Club Eagles, Antonio Carrasco, next Sunday, November 9, at 11 am, at the premises of the Yacht Club, will be a practical day where people who want it, as long as swimmers, they can enjoy a paddle.
Finally, Maria Patrocinio Martinez has indicated that this program will continue over time because, thanks to the offer of Francisco Melenchón on behalf Rowing Club City of Eagle, a series of initiatives to learn and practice the rowing ergometer were made, modality practiced rowing in sports halls and has several champions in the township.
