Spectacular closing acts in honor of Santa Cecilia in Aguilas (24/11/2014)

On Sunday, after the celebration of Holy Mass and subsequent fellowship meal, the Columbine Musical Patronage 'Francisco Díaz Romero' taken for completion of the program of activities in honor of St. Cecilia, patron saint of musicians, a varied lineup of events was launched on 15 November and had its peak during last Saturday night.

That night, the Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena hosted a spectacular act, embraced by many people packed the main hall of the historic building.

Among those attending the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, accompanied by a broad representation of the municipal corporation and the Minister of Health and Social Policy, Catherine Lorenzo, as well as the president of the Federation of Bands in the Region was Murcia, Ginesa Zamora, and its namesake in the Columbine Musical Patronage, Ramon Rubio, among other guests.

The evening began with the debut of the group 'Eagles Jazz', composed of members of that Board, followed by the presentation of diplomas at thirteen new components of the school band.

Those responsible for it were the manager of this training, Ginés Ramírez, and the Councillor for Education, Francisco Clemente.

Immediately, eighty musicians that make up this group offered a repertoire that was applauded by the audience.

Moments later, the eight new members of the titular band had their moment.

These income received their certificates from the Director of this group, Juan Rojo, and the Councillor for Culture, Francisco Miguel Martinez.

On the other hand, people who take 25 years as part of the band were also distinguished with the gold award of this institution, insignia imposed on them directors Musical Patronage Columbine and the Federation Band Music of Murcia Ramon Zamora Rubio and Gineza respectively.

After these examinations, the head band delighted the audience with a splendid program, masterfully directed by Juan Rojo Garcia, who moments later received from the mayor, Bartolome Hernandez Gimenez, the distinction of Adoptive Son of Eagles, thus fulfilling the Plenum reached last October 30.

The emotion of this gala, also palpable in the words expressed by these authorities and the honorees was extended until the end of a show that ended with the interpretation of the hymn to Eagles, by the components of the two bands and tenor Juan José Berenguer, before a rendered by the magic of the historical moment public.
