Last night, the full City Eagles mayor approved the proposal for the nomination of two new streets of the town, located in the La Florida I, which bear the name of two famous aquiline.
During the plenary session, the mayor of Citizen Services, Clara Valverde, recounted in detail the merits that make these deserving people of this important distinction, as well as the popular support that accompanies requests for appointments.
One of these arteries carry the name 'Juan Navarro Garcia', born in Águilas in October 1915. Among other positions, has been secretary of various councils, until in 1960 the property went on to play the position of Head of the Bureau of Personnel in the City of Eagle, where he remained until his retirement in January 1985.
His literary vocation comes to him from young, publishing some papers in several newspapers and magazines of the time, though his most prolific period comes after their termination, devoting himself to write different books related to Eagles.
As pastor of Garrobillo another street called 'chronicler and historian Luis Díaz Martínez', well known locally for these facets and his priestly work, now also a member of the Royal Academy of Alfonso X the Wise.
He is the author of numerous books, highlighting the 'Journal of aquiline issues', which makes clear his inclination to research the past of his hometown.
He has made several donations to the municipal archives and the archaeological museum, among other places.
He has also made major conferences and collaborates regularly with various media, among a long list of initiatives that reveals his love Eagles.
