The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, in collaboration with the City of Eagle, has invested more than four million euros to improve and reform schools Eagles.
Among these investments is the Centre for Education and Primary Ciudad del Mar today visited the director general of Department, María Dolores Valcárcel, by the Councillor for Education, Francisco Clemente, and the school principal, Francisco Miguel Martinez.
Precisely at this school is just installed a collection of ceramics donated by the artist Pilar Espinosa and will serve to indicate the different areas of the center.
The collection, called 'Educamar', is composed of 36 20x20 ceramic pieces, cooked in oven and hand painted depicting animals of the Mediterranean Sea with the legend of the various departments.
"This school is an example of work with the City to give teachers and students the right to develop their work and which have invested more than four million installations," said Maria Dolores Valcárcel.
Specifically, the investment was 4,042,552 euros.
Besides school, highlights the new School of Early Childhood Education recently opened and which involved an investment of 700,000 euros, and other actions, as an annex to the premises of the school URCI multipurpose building, the installation of an emergency staircase in the CEIP Joaquin Shopkeeper in 2013 or performing various renovation and improvement in Secondary School Europe throughout the summer.
"Our intention is to continue working with the City and the entire educational community to improve infrastructure network teaching municipalities in the region, so that they are further encouragement in the learning process of school and on their way to quality education, "concluded the CEO.
