Last weekend the book 'Versando Life' of lumbrerense writer Carmen Martínez Mateos was presented at the Casino de Aguilas.
During the event, the writer was accompanied by the Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martinez, and the president of the Casino, José Germán Sáez.
The aquiline poet Pedro Vera was asked to present this moving ceremony, in which the guitar Marcos Romera put the musical note to a night full of passion.
'Versando Life', with almost a hundred pages and over seventy poems, is the sixth issue of Martínez Mateos, a work published in April last year is divided into three sections: 'Versando Amores', 'Spend Stories' and book's title.
Since 2003 released his first album, dedicated to his granddaughter Paula, this artist who summers in Eagles last word has focused exclusively on stories to impregnated with a deep sense of poetry.
Carmen is self-taught, although he acknowledges that the love of poetry came to him through his father, so early writings were conducted with only ten years.
