The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, has offered an official reception to several members of the Murcia Karate Team that participated in the Championship of Spain Children, held in late April at the Palacio Municipal de Deportes Vista Alegre Córdoba.
Next to the mayor of Planning, Isabel Maria Soler, the local chief executive received the aquiline 16 athletes who competed in this event, as well as coach and manager of the Eagles Karate Club, Juan Carlos Navarro.
Of these karate, five managed to get on the podium of the best in Spain, namely:
Jose Soler, Spain champion in the junior men's kumite mode in less than 30 kilos.
Hugo Burgillos, Spain runner-up in the junior men's kumite mode.
Andres Martinez, bronze medal in kumite modality male child in less than 40 kilos.
Asier Martinez, bronze medal in the junior men's kumite mode in less than 55 kilos.
Mamonko lion, bronze in kata youngest male category.
In addition to the aquiline, the Murcia delegation also won two third places more by Bernardo Abenza in juvenile male kumite mode in less than 36 kilos, and Sergio Crespo, juvenile male kumite mode in less than 30 kilos.
