the manager of the Marina Juan Montiel, Juan Francisco Montiel;
the foreman of this entity, Luis Romero;
and the delegate of the J80 fleet del Mar Menor, José Manuel Jodar
Eagles host the waters from 21 to 24 May, the Cup of Spain J80, which will involve about twenty first class boats, many of which are in the Top 5 national ranking.
This was announced this morning, the Councillor for Sports, Diego Martínez Parra, with the manager of the Marina Juan Montiel, Juan Francisco Montiel, the bosun of this entity, Luis Romero;
and the delegate of the J80 fleet del Mar Menor, José Manuel Jodar, during a press conference in the City of Eagles.
The test will take place under the organization of the Sport Association Juan Montiel and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, in collaboration with the Consistory aquiline, the Municipal Sports, Sports Association J80 Mar Menor, the Sailing Federation of the Region of Murcia the Spanish Association of the J80 class, among other firms and organizations.
Among the sailors who attend this event is the Olympic champion Jose Maria Van Der Proeg or the current number one in the national ranking, Alex Semenov and the Italian owner Massimo Rama.
The level of registered will make this race a sporting event maximum height for both fans to the world of sailing and the public in general.
The opening day will be May 21, at 10 am, being dedicated to the registration of participants, heavy crew, launch boats and measurements, ending at 20 pm with a welcoming ceremony.
The program is as follows:
Friday, May 22: At 13 hours, warning signal for the first race of the day.
Saturday, May 23: At 13 hours, warning signal for the first race of the day.
Sunday, May 24: At 12 hours, warning signal to the first race of the day.
The awards ceremony will take place at 18 hours.
