After an intense election day, Eagles Win coalition, composed of United Left-Greens and Socialist Alternative, performed the first evaluations of the results obtained at the municipal level in these elections.

Eagles win is a project that, as reflected in its founding manifesto, born with the intent to "join a new social majority capable of wresting power the Popular Party and return the institutions to citizenship".

The result in this election, a councilor and 5'11% of the vote, severely limits these aspirations, but state that "from the beginning we knew that our project was not in the short term."

"Mobilization, organization and the general interest" motivate political action during this term in the words of its candidate for mayor and validates the position of Councillor, María Isabel Torrente.

"Although many so desire, we will not yield," he says, "because the United Left and Win Eagles are tools at the service of working people and will not rest until recovered municipal institutions for the majority."
