Tomorrow Tuesday, June 25 at 20:00 am in the Plenary Hall of the Consistory aquiline, the chairmen of the Municipal People's Party, Socialist Movement Social Aquilegia, Izquierda Unida + and Mixed Greens, will raise the regular plenary of the month November, for consideration, debate and approval, the following motion:
The violence is the best example of inequality that even our society faces today, based on the social structure that provides legitimacy to certain men who feel they have the right to decide on the lives of their wives, girlfriends or spouses.
Male violence is not a private or individual issue, but fundamentally social, and needs to the society and institutions become aware and involved.
As a matter of public authorities and society, must be coordinated and collective action to respond globally to the current situation of gender violence, whose only aim is to eradicate this scourge and achieve equality of opportunity between the sexes, something higher priority among Women who suffer severe inequality and are experiencing, have experienced or are at risk of living with violence.
The Comprehensive Law against Gender Violence and the implementation of the Protection Order has been a huge progress in many aspects, social awareness, infrastructure and institutional funding or specific actions to improve the protection of women suffering from this scourge as well as coordination between various agencies involved.
Therefore, it will deepen the commitment of all political forces and citizens to its eradication.
It is an arduous and difficult in that we must remain united.
The success of laws such as this will require social support and seamless.
So this year we must, in addition, pay our heartfelt tribute to those citizens which have put even their physical integrity to the solidarity of women victims of gender violence.
To those citizens who are fighting and will fight to restore dignity to women who suffer the weight of a macho, patriarchal culture, even paying with their lives.
To those citizens who, feeling the terrible injustice to the victims of gender violence poses, try to change the oppressive and repressive attitudes of maltratadotes and they devote their efforts and work with full honesty and dedication.
To those citizens who, from the social strata in contact with this scourge, as others and those others from their daily lives, make recovery for victims of gender violence are denied freedom to which all human beings we are entitled.
To all those who, anonymously, are struggling to restore freedom, dignity and justice to women victims of violence: they have to be the referents, people who guide our wills, to root among both pain and suffering, deepening gender democracy, civic freedom, dignity and full equality between the sexes.
Violence against women becomes an obstacle to achieving the objectives of equality, development and peace for all men and women pursue, and violates and impairs the enjoyment of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, is ultimately an attack on the physical and psychological than half of humanity: women.
The Municipal Corporation of the City of Eagle, aware of its magnitude and complexity of its eradication, will continue to encourage, within its competence, to continue this constant political momentum that so many women still need.
For the foregoing reasons, we propose the adoption of the following agreements:
1 .- To urge the National Government to continue to apply as expeditiously the Comprehensive Urgent Measures against Gender Violence dedicating resources, human and economic infrastructure, necessary and essential for full development and implementation using all means to continue raising awareness of Spanish society against this scourge.
2 .- To urge the Government to under the Comprehensive Integrated Protection Measures against Gender Violence includes custom protection schemes for victims of gender violence.
3 .- To encourage the cooperation of the Autonomous Community and the City of Eagle to the National Government to ensure that, within their respective powers, available to women victims all possible resources, implementing comprehensive network permanently assistance and support to women victims of violence, no differences of any kind.
4.-promote specific programs to address the situation of women in situations of particular vulnerability in this county, bearing in mind the multiple discrimination of certain sectors of the population.
5 .- struggle so that among all people, be able to eradicate gender violence in all its forms in our society.
6 .- To mention in each regular plenary session of the women killed by domestic violence in the period since the previous regular plenary session.
