Eagles will join Saturday's initiative "Earth Hour" (23/03/2010)

Eagles will join next Saturday, March 27, the global outage will take place between 20:30 and 21:30 hours, in the awareness campaign to combat climate change called "Earth Hour" .

The lighting of the emblematic Castillo San Juan de las Aguilas shut off during this time, as a gesture of membership of the municipality for the initiative.

This action was organized by the WWF, is the largest climate event in history, which is expected to join hundreds of millions of people around the world.

Earth Hour 2009, in which the City of Eagles also participated, brought together more than 4,000 cities in 88 countries, including 200 Spanish cities.

In 2010, under the slogan "Turn off the light, illuminates the future" will involve governments, citizens and businesses in a joint action to draw attention to the effects of global warming and demand the world's political leaders to act to control CO2 emissions before it is too late.
