AVA criticizes the Ministry to "marginalize the colleges and institutes of Eagles" (29/03/2010)

The Neighborhood Association AVA-Foro Aquilegia Eagles harshly criticizes the decision of the autonomous region, implemented through the Ministry of Education, not to grant any high school or college aguileño to participate in the pilot project 'Aula XXI'.

Inexplicably, Eagles has been left out of the regional pilot, according to information provided by the Ministry itself, making it the only municipality in the county of Guadalentín not have the technological infrastructure, on the contrary, they have been been granted to Lorca Puerto Lumbreras, Mazarrón and Totana: wireless, digital whiteboard, document camera, digital books and also a laptop for each student.

The Columbine Neighborhood Association has decided to immediately send a strong letter of protest to President of the Autonomous Community and the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, demanding an explanation of the reasons why they have been rejected all applications to join the that project and that once were made by several schools aquiline.

This incomprehensible decision of the Autonomous aquiline supposed to be excluded from the scheme, in which over five hundred other students may participate in the fifth year of primary school and another half of the first of ESO facilities belonging to forty two dozen other municipalities in Murcia , among which are all that make up the region of Guadalentín except Eagles.

It is also sad and surprising the great fiasco of the City of Eagle and the feeble weight of his council of Education, having failed to support the projects submitted by their schools.

The sultry marginalization that has been subjected Eagles, not included any requests hooked to this project, it collides with the obvious interest shown by the Autonomous Community to tip in those municipalities that have been allowed to join the project and the selected classrooms of the schools selected have already been equipped with wireless and grid adequate to support the simultaneous connection of computers.

In addition, the Ministry has trained 300 teachers (none of them belongs to aquiline centers, naturally) in new technologies and the use of teaching resources provided.
