AVA report new crashes on the beach rocks Stove (03/04/2010)

The Neighborhood Association AVA-Foro Aquilegia Eagles publicly warned aquiline and visitors, while reporting the situation to the authorities, the high riesgopara physical integrity of persons who represent the falling rocks and landslides and rock that continue to occur on the beach of the stove, in Aguilas.

Last January, AVA has already warned of the danger by means of a paper presented to the City Clerk in which he urged the immediate adoption of measures to conjure the risk.

A month later, the City responded to the Association in recognition of the existence of danger and indicating that he would conduct a technical study of the situation on the slope of the beach, and had asked the Coastal Authority remove the area of slope that threatened discard.

In turn, Costas asked the City Council to undertake works that would have run the company "Hacienda El Stove SL"

In short, while the area is still dangerous to the integrity of individuals, since they continue to landslides and the pounding waves and has undermined the rock alarmingly that sit on urban buildings, municipal authorities and state limited to commission reports and blaming each other the problem.

In view of the attitude of the different authorities involved in the issue, AVA-Forum Citizen warns Eagles to be the responsibility of those accidents that do occur and that in that case, as local grouping with legal personality shall exercise the actions that the law allows against those found responsible for neglect, act or omission in the situation that petition.

As proof of the high level of risk that has the Playa del Stove, Neighborhood Association members have Columbine developed and distributed a photo essay of complaint (part of which is attached) which shows that have returned to cause further landslides of rocks and stones , already very poor uniformity and compaction of the slope, which threatens to collapse in several sections.

AVA considers totally inadequate for ineffective security measures taken by the Chief of Costas, who merely partial fencing of the beach, which is disabled for public use in two-thirds, and placement of signs warning users danger.

Given the urgency of the AVA has agreed to proceed immediately, by issuing letters of complaint to the Ministry of Land Policy, Ministry of Environment and, again, the Eagle City Council, urging the adoption of measures to conjure definitely the high level of risk at the Playa del Stove, very popular place in summer and aquiline and visitors, and that the area be re-used as environmental value, use of local leisure and tourist attraction.
