Eagles Mayor, Juan Ramírez Soto, Councillor of Education, Francisco Clemente, the mayor of Social Services, Josefa García and the director of CEIP "Ramón y Cajal", Eduardo Peñalver, today launched the Intercultural Week VI "Sharing Roots organized by the CEIP "Ramón y Cajal", which will run from 10 to 14 May.
The aim of the conference is to facilitate the integration and socialization of students belonging to other ethnicities and cultures in school life, to promote respect for all cultural events, develop activities that encourage cooperative working attitudes and respect for living standards and encourage participation and collaboration of different sectors of the educational community and external agents to them.
The program of events include workshops, theater, storytelling, festivals, charity market, contests, games, food tasting, exhibitions, excursions, etc..
