The Department of Agriculture reports that the consistory aquiline, tomorrow Thursday, June 3, at 19.00 pm in the Casino of Eagles, will hold a meeting on action programs of biological control in tomato.
The deputy mayor of Eagle, Fernando Martinez, wanted to appeal to all farmers, technicians and entrepreneurs in the area to come to this meeting, which will intervene CEO of Operations and Training Modernization of Agriculture and technicians the Ministry of Agriculture.
At the meeting, reported the actions taken and the problems and advantages that may have the new plant proposed strategies for growing tomatoes, as well as the status of "Tuta" in the Region of Murcia.
Result of the work and collaboration of private sector and the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia, offers technicians and producers in the area a "phytosanitary management guide for planting tomatoes," in which sets out the basic hygiene and cultural, to minimize the occurrence of plant disease problems in plantations.
It also includes recommendations for managing and supporting of interest in this crop, the use of traps and use of pesticides, particularly in relation to support beneficial insects.
