The mayor of Eagles and the mayor of Old Age inaugurated yesterday the program of activities, which will run until next Friday.
Since yesterday, Monday, June 7, the Municipal Center on Aging "Antonio Segura Sicily" is celebrating its Socio-Cultural Week XXII.
The opening ceremony was conducted by the Mayor of Aguilas, Juan Ramírez Soto, the mayor of Third Age, Josefa García, and the president of the Center, Juana Gonzalez.
After the official opening, local authorities had the opportunity to visit an exhibition held by the members of that Centre, where they could see the different crafts made in the various courses run throughout the year.
Subsequently held the presentation of diplomas to the different people involved in that sample.
Both yesterday and throughout the whole week, music and dance will figure prominently in Socio-Cultural Week, with performances by transformismo, Seville, flamenco and pop, among other activities.
