The Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, offers tomorrow Friday, May 4 (21:00 hours), the sixth of the eight concerts this season in the Pro Music cycle, which takes place in the Auditorium Infanta Elena de Águilas.
Under the baton of its owner, Virginia Martínez, the regional Symphony will perform with the Russian pianist Eva Antonova, who will be the soloist of the Concerto for Piano No. 2 of Brahms, considered one of the most difficult technical in the universal piano literature .
Next, the members of the Murcian band will perform the Symphony No. 4 of Schumann, the peak of the German composer's symphonic repertoire.
The general director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts (ICA), Marta López-Briones, said that "once again, the regional Symphony steps the tables of the Auditorium Infanta Elena to interpret works of great importance, showing the good moment that our orchestra is going through, which in each visit to Águilas gets the applause of a very large audience ".
