Last April 28 and 29, the Spanish Mountain Bike Orientation Championship 2018 was held in Pontillón do Castro and Villagarcía de Arosa (Pontevedra), being the most important event of the national calendar for this modality.

The aquiline Agustín Gabarrón Jiménez, member of the Adventure Bike Club and the Association Águilas Naturalmente Activa, represented the Region of Murcia in the Absolute Couples category and competed in the 3 distances: sprint, medium and long, in which he achieved excellent results, proclaiming Champion of Spain in average distance and Subcampeón in long distance and sprint.
