The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Festejos, Encarna Navarro, yesterday presented the summer program that will be developed in the municipality during the months of July and August and, as usual, "will concentrate on mostly in the square of Antonio Cortijos with the only exception of two concerts: the free concert of Cadena Dial that for the third consecutive year will be held in the esplanade of the Auditorium and that of Antonio Orozco due to the demands of the producer ".
One more year, from the Department has opted for a program that offers alternatives for all tastes and ages.
Thus during the two summer months there will be concerts, children's activities, acts of associations, dance shows, theater and music.
In the same way, it has sought to accommodate local artists, local associations and keep the concerts free.
Within this last section includes the national tour of Cadena Dial that next July 16, for the third consecutive year, will bring up to Águilas first level artists in a free show that will take place in the esplanade of the Auditorium.
The celebration program will be completed, within the concert section, the Golden Age of Spanish Pop with Alberto Comesaña (July 5), Tribute to the Three Tenors (July 13), Antonio Orozco (August 9), Rozalen ( August 16), La Copla (August 18) Tribute to Beyoncé (August 17) or the fourth edition of Ellas (September 1), as well as the magic show Enrique de León (August 8), the Course of Guasa, by the chirigota del Selu (August 10), the musical Tras el telón (August 23) and the mood of Los Morancos (August 24).
The children will also be the protagonists of a good part of the summer program with activities such as the musicals Vaiana (July 6), La Dama y el Vagabundo (July 28), Drilo (August 12) Supercalifragilistico (August 15), Peter Pan (August 19), Beauty and the Beast (August 26), and several plays for children, among them, The Three Little Pigs (July 7), The patio of my house (July 20) or The rat presumed (August 22).
The summer events will include the rhythmic gymnastics exhibition (August 1), the David Ruiz Festival (July 8), the Goyi Vera Festival (July 14), the Rociera Brotherhood gala (July 21), the Sinergia Festival (July 22), the Golden Age of the Third Age (July 26 and 27), the Paso Morado charity gala (July 29), the Red Cross gala (August 1), election gala characters of the Carnival (August 3), Carnival Parade (August 4), the meeting of gangs (August 5), the Sartenazo for the benefit of the Hospitality of Lourdes (August 9), the night of the monologues (11 August), Great Fireworks Castle (August 14), Cucaña (August 15), the charity Gala of the Occupational Center Urci (August 25) and Los Cuarentones (August 31), in addition to the traditional cotillones.
