The Association of Friends of Trovo in Águilas "Francisco Díaz el Miope" starts its journey with the firm objective of recovering the trovera tradition in Águilas and creating new values.
This was expressed by Pedro Francisco Sánchez Albarracín in the presentation of the collective, which took place at the Casa de Cultura "Francisco Rabal", on Saturday May 19, before a large number of attendees.
The act began with some words from the mayor of Culture, Lucia Diaz, who showed the pride of being able to recover traditions such as the aquiline trovo that has always occupied a privileged place at the regional level.
Then, Francisco Sanchez explained to the attendees the need to create quarry, among all ages but as a priority in schools, so that the trovo does not disappear in Águilas because, to this day, there is only one trovero such as Salvador Marina .
Next, the aquiline journalist Isabel Reverte read Pablo Díaz Moreno's poem "Águilas Tierra de Troveros" with guitar music and at the same time a presentation with images of different troves and troves from Águilas.
The hand of the trovers Iván López de la Escucha, Nicolás Galiano from the Calvario neighborhood and Miguel Ángel Sánchez from San Cristóbal while the guitar notes came from the hand of Felix Cano.
It only remains to add that all people who want to be part of the Friends of the Trovo Association in Águilas "Francisco Díaz Miope" can pick up their registration form in the library of the House of Culture "Francisco Rabal".
