The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, recently received the aquiline Félix Cano, a cheesemaker who was recently awarded the Mercurio in Crafts Prize;

a distinction that the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia gives to those people or institutions that are distinguished by their excellence in various fields of activity.
