The mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Deportes, Cristóbal Casado, recently received the aquiline Agustín Gabarrón, Spanish champion of medium distance and runner-up in long distance and sprint in the Spanish Championship of Mountain Bike Orientation 2018.

The aquiline, member of the Adventure Bike Club, represents the Region of Murcia in the practice of a sport where physical and mental effort is combined with the aim of completing the course in the shortest possible time, with the particularity of having to look for a series of points marked on a map.
