"What we are doing is an intensive brushing, manually, of more than 200 specimens.The aim is to improve the image of our green areas with some more beautiful palms, keep their trunks clean and at the same time check that they are in perfect condition, "explained the mayor of Business Rendering Services, Isabel Fernandez.
The objective of these works, which are developed once a year by two people from the STV Gestión concessionary company, is to continue to focus on highlighting and enhancing the beauty of such significant elements as palms for Águilas.
This brushing, at all times beneficial for the specimen, also prevents any citizen from touching or damaging the lower part of the palm trees.
The Aquiline Consistory continues with its policy of maintenance and care of green spaces and the different plant elements that compose them, in the interest of constant improvement.
