The mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Consumo, Isabel María Torrente, and the president of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users Virgen de los Dolores, Cati García, yesterday presented the XXIII Cultural Week of the Association which will start next Monday (June 4) and will continue until Friday (June 8).
Throughout the week the House of Culture Francisco Rabal will host, from 20 hours, different activities with which the association, assured the president, "wants to show the work that has been developing throughout the course."
He also noted that "the talks, exhibitions, theaters, musical performances and workshops will be open to the general public and all of them will be free."
Program of activities (all activities at 8:00 pm at the Francisco Rabal House of Culture):
Monday: Inauguration with the performance of the association's choir.
Talk "Using the laser for urogynecological treatments" by the Gineccosta team.
Tuesday: Talk "Physical exercise, woman and health" by Apolonia Albarracín.
Floral demonstration by Ortiz Floristas.
Wednesday: Talk "Let's talk about depression" by Julia Martínez.
Performance of the Polyphonic Choir of the Senior Center of Águilas.
Thursday: Teatro "Sombra Amada" of the Manola Campoy Theater Group and under the direction of Soledad Sánchez.
Friday: Talk "The importance of the podiatrist in the field of health" by Rocío Benítez.
Daniel Valera and his flamenco show "Flamenco a pares".
