The press room of the City Council of Águilas welcomed this morning the presentation of the 3rd Edition of the Gastronomic Fair of Águilas SaboreÁguilas;
an Enogastronomic event organized by the Hotel and Tourism Association of Águilas (HosteÁguilas) in collaboration with the City Council, the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia and Galpemur.
The fair, which will be held on June 15, 16, and 17, aims to convert the square of Antonio Cortijo into a complete Enogastronómico venue where, in addition to a Calle de Tapas, you can enjoy live music, showcooking, tourist activities and marine crafts.
During the presentation, which was attended by the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Tourism, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, and the president of Hosteáguilas, Vicente Sánchez, all have coincided in the great gastronomic potential of our town that , on the occasion of SaberÁguilas, it will become for three days "in the regional enograstronomic epicenter, positioning Águilas as a gastronomic destination for sailors".
This year, as a novelty, all attendees at Saboreáguilas will be able to enjoy different workshops by a group of Galician runners who will show the work that can be done using fishing nets as a main element
Regarding the street of the tapas, it should be noted that it will have as protagonists the moruna fish (on Friday 15), the white shrimp (Saturday 16) and the red shrimp (Sunday 17).
As in previous years, the fair will work through tickets: 2.50 the tapa, 1.20 the soft drinks and beers, 1.50 the winery and 3.50 the cocktails.
