Carlos A. Bartolomé: "We are all aware of the problem facing the planet in the not too distant future due to global warming and it is up to all of us, within our possibilities, to try to take the necessary measures to mitigate these effects".
The popular councilman states that there are many actions from different organizations and organizations are being adopted to curb global warming and municipalities within their powers are also required to adopt measures to encourage the reduction of emissions of polluting gases.
In this sense, Carlos A. Bartolome explains that everyone knows that one of the sources of emission of these gases are the vehicles that use oil derivatives as fuel.
Therefore, "it is important that the administrations try to favor the use of non-polluting vehicles so that citizens when buying opt for hybrid technology or one hundred percent electric".
Therefore, from the Municipal People's Group several agreements are proposed to modify the regulations governing the Tax on Vehicles of Mechanical Traction and Parking on Municipal Public Roads, to subsidize non-polluting vehicles, as well as to enable recharging points in the municipality for vehicles that require electric power for its operation.
