The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Education, Cristóbal Casado, met this week with representatives of the AMPAS of all schools in the town to coordinate the program of free regional textbooks, approved last February in the Regional Assembly, with the Book Bank Program that the Government Team of the Águilas City Council implemented three years ago.

After the meeting, the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, stressed that "despite the fact that the Region will launch free books next year, Águilas has since September 2015 a Bank of Books that, thanks to the collaboration of both the families as of the centers, has managed to cover practically all the stage of Primary education ".
