The mayor of guilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has shown his satisfaction for the announcement made by the Ministry of Education for the extension to adult education students of the current basic level of cooking course that is already being offered at the IES Carlos III.
Moreno, who has described this announcement as "positive", has stated, however, that his obligation is "to continue reminding the Ministry of the need to implement the average level of the aforementioned training cycle since it is the one that for years has claimed so much the City Council as the institute itself. "
The mayor has insisted on the fact that a basic level is not enough.
"What is really necessary is that young people and adults who complete this basic level, which had already been offered in guilas and that, therefore, does not mean an extension of the training offer, can continue to be trained in the locality in a sector with so many perspectives of future as it is the one of the kitchen and the restoration ".
