More than one hundred and fifty people have participated in the workshops developed in the town on Computer Science and Internet in recent months;
Use of mobile and tablet;
Protection in the network;
or User Computing, which have been taught by senior technicians in Information Systems Administration assigned to the Local Public Employment Program "Promotion of the use of electronic administration and advantages of the use of ICT in Águilas".
During the ceremony of diplomas, held last week, the first mayor stressed the importance of "a program that, on the one hand, has offered many people the possibility of training in the world of technology and, on the other hand, has allowed the temporary hiring, for six months to 50% of the working day, of the three technicians in charge of teaching these courses that until now were unemployed ".
It should be remembered, finally, that the project, co-financed by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the European Social Fund and the City of Águilas, which has made a significant effort in providing resources to develop the program, aims to improve the employability and qualification of its participants, as well as developing actions of general interest.
