A new tourist accommodation will open its doors in the middle of the month adding 68 new places to the tourist offer of the town.
This is the Bea Beach hostel whose opening is scheduled for the end of this month, as announced yesterday by the director of the aforementioned accommodation, Juan Francisco Montiel, in a press conference in which he was accompanied by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, general director of Tourism, Manuel Fernández-Delgado, the councilors of Tourism and Sports, Ginés Desiderio Navarro and Cristóbal Casado, and the sportswoman Amaya Valdemoro.
The new tourist lodge has a solarium, an interior patio, a self-catering kitchen and, for groups, a restaurant service in the same building.
It will also rely on the facilities of Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel to provide pensions and at the Puerto Montt Juan Montiel to offer the practice of a wide range of activities such as: sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddlesurf, diving, bike rental, boat rental with and without skipper, paddleboat, nautical training, etc ...
During the presentation, the mayor thanked "the Montiel Group for its commitment to the tourism sector in the town", while saying that "the increase in accommodation places is essential for a tourist location, especially in a place like Águilas in the that, we are aware, we have deficiency of them, therefore any initiative like this will always have our support. "
