"Da capo", an Italian term that could be translated as "back to the beginning", is what singer-songwriter Joan Manuel Serrat will do next Tuesday, September 11 at the Infanta Elena Auditorium and Congress Center.
The Catalan artist will offer a two-hour concert that will center on the Mediterranean, the eighth album of his career, published in 1971 that includes songs such as Aquellas pequeño cosas, Lucía, Pueblo blanco or the song of the same name.
A performance that the mayor of Culture, Lucia Hernandez, qualified this morning during the press conference presentation as "the cultural event of the year."
Only 707 people will be able to enjoy what, possibly, is the most intimate concert of those offered on this tour and that, in addition, will be the last European date of the tour Mediterráneo da capo.
But the Serrat presence in Águilas will not be limited solely to its performance in the Auditorium and Conference Center.
"The same September 11, with the Mediterranean as a witness, will take place the act of discovery of the plate of the Mirador Joan Manuel Serrat, located in the cove of Los Cocedores del Hornillo, an act to which the artist himself has already confirmed his attendance ", advanced the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno.
Tickets to attend the concert are already on sale on the website of Corte Inglés, exclusive seller during the first 48 hours.
From Friday at 12 they can also be purchased on the Bacantix.com portal, in the Archaeological Museum and the House of Culture.
