Yesterday began in Águilas the acts in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, patron of the men and women of the sea.

As usual, the Band and the Choir of the Aguileño Musical Board Francisco Díaz Romero was the one in charge, with its traditional serenade to the Virgin, to open the program of activities that will continue throughout today.

Thus, at eleven o'clock a seafaring mass will begin to be held at the Lonja de Águilas.

In the afternoon, after the Eucharist that will be celebrated in the church of El Carmen, the image of the Virgin of the sea will cross the streets until arriving at the fishing port, where the marine procession begins along the coast of the town. .
