The inclusive park located in La Loma has been, since last weekend, the name of Maestra Mari Collado in recognition of the educational work carried out by this teacher in the municipality of Águilas.
The act of discovery of the plaque that identifies this children's play space was the responsibility of the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno and was attended by many members of the municipal Corporation, as well as friends and family from the outside for many years a teacher in Águilas.
"Although Mari Collado left us a few months ago, the affection that many generations of aquilines still maintain towards her made her worthy of this recognition," said the mayor.
The Mari Collado Master Inclusive Park, the second with which Aguilas counts, is conceived as a space without barriers so that children, regardless of their physical conditions, can enjoy their childhood in equal conditions.
The objective of these parks is to favor the real integration, for that reason they are inclusive;
that is, in the same park, regular games will be integrated with others accessible to children with disabilities.
