The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Education, Cristóbal Casado, and several representatives of Cáritas, including its president, Ana Cortijos, visited the children who are participating in summer schools with school canteens, for children at risk of social exclusion, which the City Council has launched for the fourth consecutive year.
During the months of July and August, the Ramón y Cajal school has opened its doors to guarantee the children a breakfast and a full meal a day, as well as playful and educational activities.
This year, in addition, the City Council has also enabled a summer school in El Garrobillo that serves the children of the Marina de Cope area.
