Last Saturday the Casa Menéndez restaurant delivered the traditional awards that this establishment, Asturian cuisine located on Calle Reina Sofía de Águilas, makes every year on the occasion of the Gastronomic Days of the Bonito del Norte.

On this occasion, in which the days reached their eighth edition, they were the singer-songwriter Pipo Prendes;

the program Diario del campo;

and the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras as "exemplary people" who received the distinction.
