The headquarters of the AFEMAC association was the place chosen for the renewal of the collaboration agreement between Ibercaja and the aquiline association under which the "Pilota Juventud" program can be developed, for the second year in a row, an initiative whose main objective is to attend to children of school age who present behavioral difficulties inside and outside the classroom.
The program, which takes place in the schools themselves, is aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 16 and their families, since working with families is one of the fundamental pillars of this program.
The interventions are aimed at providing psychosocial support to minors and their families, preventing school failure and facilitating adaptation to the child in their educational community.
At the signing of the agreement, signed between Pilar Morales, president of Afemac, and Jesús María Guil, director of zone 8-Arco Mediterráneo of Ibercaja, attended by the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno.
