This week concluded the Respiro Familiar Program, launched by the Department of Social Services and Education of the City of Águilas, with an event held at the Urci Occupational Center in which the delivery of diplomas to children took place. the month of July have participated in this summer school.
The event was attended by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno.
The participating children, all of them with disabilities, have enjoyed a summer school adapted to their needs throughout the month, in which, among other things, they have been able to acquire the benefits that leisure brings;
while "their families have found a break to reconcile work and family life in this month in which the centers of origin of these children close their doors for vacation," said the mayor of the town.
During the ceremony, Josefa López, president of the Urci Occupational Center, said that "older children who have benefited from this program will soon be users of this center and this activity allows them to become familiar with it and facilitate its adaptation in the future" .
