The act of appointment of the aquiline Ramón Jiménez Madrid as the Favorite Son of Águilas took place last week;

a recognition that was approved in plenary last November, at the request of the also aquiline María Dolores Román.

During the ceremony, the first aquiline mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, highlighted "the arduous and altruistic work of Jiménez Madrid in the development of the aquiline culture, being, in addition, the propeller and first coordinator of the cycle of Conferences Looking at the Sea".

And it was precisely in the framework of these conferences that the already favored Son of Eagles received this deserved recognition.
