The bay of Levante became yesterday the stage of the regatta of rowboats and the cucaña;
two of the acts that are part of the festive program for the Day of the Assumption.
The activities were followed by a large number of public, including the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Festejos, Encarnación Navarro, responsible for delivering the trophies to the winners.
David García achieved, for the sixteenth time, the triumph in the cucaña.
In the rowing boat regatta, Astilleros Carrasco was the first to cross the finish line, followed by Club de Remo Ciudad de Águilas and, in third position, Club de Remo Águilas.
In addition, this year, as a novelty, a paddle surf exhibition was held before the traditional events began.
