The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation to clarify the events that occurred in a leisure area of ​​the municipality of Águilas where there was a supposed sexual abuse of a girl and a subsequent aggression with the use of a vehicle to another group of Young who was in the place.
The investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old man, Romanian national and neighbor of Águilas, as alleged perpetrator of the crimes of sexual abuse, against road safety, injuries and damages.
The investigation began on Sunday, August 12, when the Civil Guard was alerted by a fight in the vicinity of a leisure area in the municipality of Aguilas in which a group of young people had been involved.
The Benemérita, in collaboration with the local police of Águilas, went to the place, where they found out that an individual, on board a vehicle, had driven recklessly, reversing, until violently knocking down a metal door located on one side of the leisure establishment where there was a large group of young people, three of which resulted with various injuries, so they were treated by emergency medical services.
The Civil Guard gathered information from eyewitnesses and located a young woman who, apparently, had had a first contact with the driver of the vehicle when he had grabbed her arm and had touched her buttocks.
The girl told the agents that after this her boyfriend intervened to reproach his attitude, at which point he was attacked with an iron bar.
Next, the subject threatened the girl's other friends with a broken glass bottle.
The rapid intervention of the security personnel of the nightlife establishment prevented the altercation from going on, so the aggressor left to go on board a tourist car, backing down against a large metal door next to the that there was a large group of young people.
The local security staff, seeing the speed at which the vehicle circulated, immediately opened the door to give access to the interior of the private parking lot to those present, which prevented that, although it was knocked down, only there were three victims of consideration.
The Civil Guard and the Local Police of Águilas immediately began a search device for the vehicle and its driver, which at that time was negative.
The investigation developed below revealed that the owner of the vehicle sought did not correspond to the person who had participated in the alleged sexual abuse, injuries and reckless driving, so, after conducting numerous investigations, the investigators have located the suspect.
Once determined its relation with the investigated facts it has been stopped like the presumed author by the crimes of sexual abuse, against the road safety, injuries and damages.
The arrested male, aged 26, Romanian nationality and neighbor of Eagles and the proceedings ordered have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 2 of Lorca (Murcia), who has ordered his entry into preventive detention.
