The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Miguel Ángel del Amor, went this morning to the farm in the open sea that the Culmarex company has in Águilas.
During her visit, the first councilor and councilor accompanied a Brazilian delegation interested in the process and technological innovations of regional aquaculture, all with the objective of making known the industrial and technological potential of the work that is carried out in the murcian fish farms.
Later they have moved to the packing room of this factory in which they have been able to know how to process the catches.
During the visit, the mayor of the town said that "for the municipality is a pride that this delegation of Brazil visit Águilas today," while highlighting "the willingness of the City to establish lines of cooperation with the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil".
It should be noted that the Ministry has signed a memorandum with Brazil to "promote the development of aquaculture in both territories and work mutually on issues related to it," Del Amor explained.
A visit to the fry facilities of another established firm in Cabo Cope is scheduled for this afternoon.
