The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Participación Ciudadana, Luis López, visited the different works, included in the Works and Services Plan (POS), which are being carried out in the town, specifically in the streets Democracy, Fraternity, Happiness, Coexistence and Prosperity and that are already in their last phase.
During the visit, the first mayor stressed that these actions, with an investment close to 245,000 euros, will be a solution to the problems of the road, whose pavement was in very poor condition, as well as a renewal of the network of distribution of drinking water in order to offer a better service.
Likewise, within this same Works and Services Plan, the necessary actions have also been taken to solve the existing problem with the drainage of rainwater in Manuel Azaña and Juan Mula streets, where a water collector has been built with its Corresponding scuppers, the sewage system and the drinking water network have been renewed and the pavement has been replaced with asphalt agglomerate.
