The Valencian Fernando Ortega became this weekend the winner of the Aguilas Prize for Short Novel for his work El claro de luna;
a romantic story that the author pointed out- "deals with the delivery of something as precious as time that is not had".
The award ceremony, which took place in the Auditorium and Conference Center, was attended by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Tourism, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, and the members of the jury in charge of selecting the best of the works among the almost 500 presented.
A figure much higher than last year that shows the good reception of this cultural initiative that "has managed to make known our municipality to participants from almost all points of Spain," said José Asensio, president of the jury and promoter From this project.
During the award ceremony were given the awards accorded to Men Marias for "Smells in a hurry" and María Sergia Martín for "Kisses in the hair."
