The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Services Provider Companies, Isabel Fernández, visited the Cala Real square yesterday to supervise the actions that are taking place in the area.
It should be remembered that the improvements that are being carried out, framed within the Recovery Plan for Public Spaces, are the result of contributions and neighborhood proposals on environmental needs.
During the visit, the mayor of Service Provider Companies said that the waterproofing works of the square carried out last year has added, responding to the demands of the neighborhood, the creation of three leisure areas;
the first of it, completed last December, was allocated to a playground;
the second, concluded this week, hosts a biosaludable area equipped with fitness equipment for adults;
and a third, which will begin soon, of recreation where banks and rest areas will be located.
