The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the local development councilor, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, recently visited the participants in the new Mixed Employment and Training program called "Green Belt around the Eagles and others bypass. II ", in which 22 people between 25 and 54 years old participate, who until now were unemployed.
The purpose of the program, of a practical-training nature, is to improve the employability and facilitate the labor insertion of the participants by participating in a project of annual duration in which public or social works or services are carried out.
In the program, which provides the specialties of Installation and maintenance of gardens and green areas (AGAO0208) and Auxiliary operations of rigid finishes and urbanization, will allow its participants to obtain, once completed it, Certificates of Professionalism level 2 and level 1.
During the visit, the mayor of the town stressed that "the action that these student-workers are doing is to continue and improve the project that ended last March called Green Belt around the circumvallation of Eagles and others. In short, it is about maintaining and continuing to promote the green areas that are on the perimeter of the Eagles bypass along which the bike lane runs. "
This program, managed by the City Council, is subsidized by the SEF and co-financed by the European Social Fund and the City Council, which makes an important municipal contribution in materials.
