The Águilas City Council, through the concession company STV Gestión, has decided to significantly improve the image that currently has the viewpoint of Cookers, betting for it for the highest quality in terms of fertilizers and land preparation.
"Organic fertilizers have been used since the beginning of agriculture and have numerous advantages, among which are to be the most respectful with the environment, be responsible for providing plants and microorganisms with the necessary elements to its survival, improve the capacity to absorb water and require less energy expenditure than industrials, "explains the mayor of Service Providers, Isabel Fernández.
Before starting the plantation, an intense preparation of the land has been carried out with specialized machines to move and oxygenate the area before planting.
Regarding the landscape design of the area, water saving has prevailed, which is why more than 600 units of plants of Mediterranean origin have been planted that are perfectly adapted to the environment and are also resistant to inclement weather.
Thus, from the City of Águilas is still betting on the constant and sustainable improvement of the different green areas of the municipality and its enjoyment for the residents of the town.
