accompanied by the general director of Water, Sebastián Delgado;
and the manager of ESAMUR, Joaquín Ruiz, has brought us good news, since thanks to the investment that the Regional Government is going to make in the Águilas treatment plant, the capacity of the tertiary treatment will be increased to 3,600 cubic meters per day, a great extension since today 1800 cubic meters are treated per day.
During the past year our treatment plant has treated and made available to the irrigators 2.2 cubic hectometres and has served a population of 30,308 inhabitants.
Isabel Soler added that it is also a work that will be executed this year, and will be done in just three months, since the counselor this morning has delivered to the mayor the project, which will double the purification capacity.
The popular spokesperson has concluded adding that this is another sign that the government of President Fernando López Miras, is sensitive to the needs of the aquiline, in this case expanding the infrastructure of water purification and reuse to take advantage of every drop.
