The House of Culture Francisco Rabal will host, tomorrow Friday at 5 pm, a workshop on Access of the elderly to participatory budgets 2019, a joint initiative of the University of Murcia and the Councilors of Citizen Participation and Senior Citizens.
During the one-hour workshop, there will be a general introduction on the Transparency Portal and the importance of Participatory Budgeting.
Likewise, a simulated consultation will be carried out jointly between instructors and participants.
"Participatory budgets are one more example of our commitment to citizen participation and transparency, and what is sought with them is the direct participation of our neighbors in the day-to-day work of municipal management and a very important part of that management is what we spend the money on. That is why we believe that all citizens should be able to make their contributions and of course our elders, "said the mayor of the Third Age, Navarro incarnates.
