The City of Águilas, knowing the importance of ecological school gardens as an instrument of learning and triggering a true environmental education in school, is developing, through the Department of Environment, the implementation of school greenhouses in the centers education through a collaboration agreement signed this morning with the company Looije.

Through this agreement, the company Looije is committed to the construction of school greenhouses in educational centers adhering to this program as long as they have land for the implementation of the greenhouse within the educational center, have the consent of the School Board and Designate a teacher as coordinator of the school greenhouse.

The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the director of Looije, Juan José López, signed the agreement this morning at an event in which the mayor of the Environment, Isabel María Torrente, was also present.
